How verification works
Not an insurer. Not an intermediary. No commissions.
Principle: verify identity — never publish or retain raw policy documents long-term.
Publicly we only show “Verified policyholder” or “Verified consult” badges — never policy numbers, names, HKID, sums assured, or full PDFs.
On submit we ask for minimal data: insurer, product category, issue year, last 4 digits of the policy number, and an optional self-redacted image. Consult proofs may use a booking confirmation code.
Proof files are encrypted at rest, visible only to admins, and destroyed after a decision or within 30 days. You may request deletion anytime.
ReputeHK is not an insurer and not an insurance intermediary. We do not sell policies or take commissions. Reviews are user experience sharing, not regulatory actions. Platform licence badges are not Insurance Authority endorsements.
“Licence checked (platform)” means ReputeHK admins manually reviewed a submitted licence number. It is not IA certification. Always confirm on the IA Register of Licensed Insurance Intermediaries. Verify on IA register
