Who we are

ReputeHK is a neutral experience-sharing platform. Signed-in users write about their own experience with a named insurance agent. Praise and complaints are both shown.

Experience shares

A share is a personal account, not a ranking and not a recommendation. We do not sort agents by praise or complaint counts. Public experience shares and reviews are shown as “Anonymous user”. We do not publish the author’s Google name, display name, or email.

Why we collect personal data

We collect personal data only to: - Sign you in (Google) - Publish experience shares and that one factual reply - Run manual platform licence checks and verification badges - Keep the service secure and respond to lawful requests

Data we may process

• Account: Google email, name, and profile image if Google provides one. Used to sign you in and to recognise admin allow-list addresses. These are not shown on public pages.
• Shares and reviews: scores and optional text. Public pages show the author as “Anonymous user”. We do not show your Google name, display name, or email. The account stays linked so you can ask for correction or deletion, and so admins can handle abuse.
• Proofs (vault): policy number last 4 digits, insurer, year, and category; a consult code; an optional redacted image. Admins only. Never shown on public pages.
• Licence: the IA licence number an agent submits. It may be shown publicly after a platform check.
• Logs: admin access and decision logs, for security and audit.

Verification badges

Proof files are used only to decide a “Verified policyholder” or “Verified consult” badge. - We destroy or permanently redact the proof after the admin decision, or within 30 days, whichever comes first. - Public pages show the badge only. They do not show the policy document, the full policy number, HKID, or the sum assured. - We do not sell leads taken from proofs.

Processors

• Vercel hosts the site.
• Turso stores the database.
• Google provides sign-in.

Cookies

We use only the login session cookie, so you stay signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking cookies.

How long we keep data, and how to ask for access, correction, or deletion

• We keep account data while the account exists.
• We keep a published share until you ask us to remove it, or we remove it under the Terms of Use.
• We destroy or permanently redact verification proof files after the badge decision, or within 30 days, whichever comes first.
• Email reputehongkong@gmail.com to ask for access, correction, or deletion.
• You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD).

Security

Proof files are encrypted at rest. During review they are meant to be available only to admins.

Children

The service is for adults. Do not send us a child’s personal data.

收集目的

我們只為以下目的收集個人資料： - 登入（Google） - 發布體驗分享，以及上述那一則事實回覆 - 人手進行平台牌照核對及驗證標籤 - 維持保安，以及回應合法要求

可能處理的資料

• 帳戶： Google 電郵、姓名，以及 Google 提供的頭像（如有）。用於登入，以及識別管理員允許名單。這些資料不會出現在公開頁面。
• 分享與評價： 分數及可選文字。公開頁面一律以「匿名用家」顯示，不會公開 Google 姓名、顯示名稱或電郵。帳戶仍然連結到該則內容，以便你要求改正或刪除，以及管理員處理濫用。
• 證明（暫存庫）： 保單號碼末 4 位、保險公司、年份、類別；諮詢碼；可選的遮罩圖片。只供管理員。不會出現在公開頁面。
• 牌照： 代理人提交的保監局牌照號碼。平台核對後或會公開顯示。
• 日誌： 管理員的存取及決定紀錄，用於保安與審計。

驗證標籤

證明檔案只用於決定「已驗證投保人」或「已驗證諮詢」標籤。 - 管理員作出決定後即銷毀或永久遮蔽，或於 30 日內處理，以較早者為準。 - 公開頁面只顯示標籤，不會顯示保單文件、完整保單號碼、香港身份證號碼或保額。 - 我們不會用證明資料出售銷售線索。

資料處理者

• Vercel 負責網站寄存。
• Turso 負責資料庫。
• Google 負責登入。

Cookie

我們只用登入工作階段 cookie，讓你保持登入。我們沒有廣告 cookie，也沒有追蹤 cookie。

保存期，以及查閱、改正或刪除

• 帳戶資料在帳戶仍然存在時保存。
• 已發布的分享會一直保留，直至你要求移除，或我們按使用條款移除。
• 驗證用的證明檔案會在標籤決定後銷毀或永久遮蔽，或於 30 日內處理，以較早者為準。
• 如需查閱、改正或刪除，請電郵 reputehongkong@gmail.com。
• 你亦可向個人資料私隱專員公署（PCPD）投訴。

保安

證明檔案在靜止時加密。審核期間只擬供管理員查閱。

未成年人

本服務供成年人使用。請勿向我們提交兒童的個人資料。
